Boston College linebacker Mark Herzlich beat bone cancer but his draft stock fell after he returned to the field. If it weren't for the lockout, Herzlich, once projected to go in the first round, would have likely been quickly signed as an undrafted free agent. In the meantime, you can't help but root for a young man who has already made a miraculous recovery.
