Giants Deliver at FedEx

That's what I'm talking about! The Giants of the first five weeks have returned. The Giants looked like world-beaters last night ready to take on anybody in the playoffs, should they get the help they need over the next two weeks.
QB: A+ Eli Manning was in complete control. Not only did he have precise passing, but his checkoffs all worked. It was almost as if the Giants were scrimmaging against their own defense. His reads were sharp and he was the Eli we all envision for the next ten years. He took the team on his shoulders last night and led them to victory.
RB: B Jacobs still not getting the Yds/Carry that he did last year. He is getting better, but still needs to run harder. Bradshaw had an excellent game and was a great option to run or catch the ball. The guy plays hurt every week, yet still excels.
O Line: A McKenzie goes down and Beatty plays well. Seubert goes down and Boothe plays well. The O line was tight both the run and the pass. They kept Eli's uniform clean and gave him time to dissect the Skins. Hopefully Seubert will be ready to play this week, but it didn't look promising.
TE: B Nice work by Boss who always seems to take big hits after catching the ball. Timex is as steady as they come.
WR: A Ten different people caught passes last night. Smith was steady and continues to make first down grabs. Nicks is getting better every week and will be a star. Nice footwork by Manningham who has very quick feet. Beckham (TE), Pascoe (TE) and Hagan even caught balls last night.
K: Feagles didn't break a sweat, but had a couple of nice directional kicks. Tynes was accurate, but still needs to work on his distance on kickoffs.
D Line: B+ If it wasn't for a couple of long runs up the middle, they would have gotten an A. Excellent containment on the run and 5 sacks. They were so good in the first half that it seemed as if they actually had 7 sacks by halftime.
LBs: B+ Mostly good work and some big hits. The Giants D was swarming. Tough to tell how Goff is doing with respect to his assignments, but you have to admit he hits hard. Boley missed coverage once, isn't that why he is here?<
DBs: B+ With starters Kenny Phillips, Aaron Ross and Corey Webster out, mostly good work by this unit. Terrell Thomas has taken Ross's job and is getting better each week. Bruce Johnson gotten beaten long again by Moss which should have been a td. Aaron Rouse is an average safety at best, the same for Michael Johnson. I say this every week: Boy do we miss Kenny Phillps.
Coaching: Bill Sheridan, I will not call you Fire Bill Sheridan this week. Somehow, you rallied the team around several backups and put up a stifling performance in the first half. Kevin KillDrive had a nice game of playcalling, but actually, the more I think about it, Manning had a better game of checking off at the line of scrimmage. Couch Cough does rally his troops and the team does play hard. Give him credit for that.
Notes: Scary knee injury to Seubert could be crucial. Have to wait to hear about the MRI. Is Jim Zorn the biggest jackass you have ever seen? What was up with that swinging gate play? Take the damn points you moron. No wonder you are a lame duck. There is no shot at completing that pass, and you are exposing the holder to a pass rush from guys that will kill him. The holder got leveled and the interception was almost returned all the way for a touchdown. I wish they had shown Dan Snyder's face during that play, it would have been classic. At halftime, the talking head known as the female sideline reporter told us that Zorn would rest Campbell because he had been battered in the first half. However, Campbell took the snaps in the second half. Once again, proving my point, that the sideline reporters are useless And that includes Tony Siragusa.
