Bears linebacker Hunter Hillenmeyer was drafted by NFC North rival Green Bay in the fifth round of the 2003 NFL draft. Hillenmeyer was cut by the Packers at the end of the 2003 preseason and the Bears scooped him up. He has been in the Windy City ever since. Hillenmeyer, 28, who should start at strongside linebacker this Sunday against Cincinnati has racked up 305 tackles, 4.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and one interception in 89 games with the Bears. Hillenmeyer was said to be a guy on the outs this off-season, but thank goodness the Bears kept him. They started with six solid linebackers and now their down to four. If one of the four gets injured, look for the Bears to add a veteran like Derrick Brooks off the street.
