Both bookends of the Panthers' offensive line have now toppled.
Left tackle Jordan Gross is already on injured reserve, and right tackle Jeff Otah has joined him after injuring his left knee during Sunday's loss to New England. Geoff Schwartz filled in for the rest of that game, and Carolina has signed Rob Pettiti, who played in the UFL this season, to take Otah's roster spot.
The banged-up Panthers now have 10 players and six starters on IR. They sit at 5-8 heading into Sunday night's game against the Vikings.
Right tackle Jeff Otah's knee injury is bad enough to make him the third Panthers offensive lineman on injured reserve.
