The Panthers finished a tough season with a bang.
Carolina won its third straight Sunday, beating the short-handed Saints 23-10 in Charlotte to get to 8-8. In the last three weeks of the season, the Panthers have beaten the top two seeds in the NFC in the Saints and Vikings.
The Saints rested several key players including quarterback Drew Brees, and the Panthers took advantage, holding New Orleans to 213 total yards. Offensively, Jonathan Stewart led the way with 125 yards, including a 67-yard score, while Matt Mooore was solid, throwing a 30-yard touchdown pass to Dwayne Jarrett.
