The regular season finale has finally come, and both of these teams are heading in different directions. The Indianapolis Colts (14-1) were flirting with perfection last weekend, but decided to concentrate more on the big picture and rest some starters, which led to their first loss of the season against the New York Jets. The Buffalo Bills (5-10) on the other hand, are going to miss the playoffs for the 10th season in a row. They did make an important hire on New Year's Eve when they hired long-time NFL man Buddy Nix as their new GM. Now, the Bills will begin the process of finding a new head coach to roam the sidelines in 2010.

As for the game, it should look like a preseason game to many. With the Colts to rest players once again in preparation for the playoffs, the Bills will field a team that has 20 players on IR; exciting stuff, right? With temperatures supposed to be in the mid-teens, this game will be miserable for both the players and the fans.

A Manning-less Colts team gives the Bills a shot, but we have all seen the Bills lose to second-stringers before at home in the last game of the season (see Pittsburgh game Jan 2, 2005).

Colts 16

Bills 10
